Sixty pages of pure Artistic expression starts with a brilliant essay about the expressionists of Europe including the early German based painters. The front cover is Edvard Munch, of course you know that already, although this painting is not his most ‘renown’ work (that goes to Scream,) but it is a fabulous painting of a desire of woman – The title is “Madonna” – no not the Girls want to have fun Madonna – but one that Edvard was totally passionate about.
