Fiddler's Ferry- the cloud factory exhibition

The exhibition Fiddler’s Ferry “the cloud factory” opens to the public on the 15th July 2022 at the Warrington Museum and Art Gallery. Cheshire UK.

Shaun Smyth and Lee Harrison have created a huge bank of work that shows in depth the famous icon that is Fiddler’s Ferry Power Station located in St Helen’s Merseyside. Now de-commissioned the power station’s famous Towers could be seen from the Pennine range and Derbushire.

Shaun (the painter) has created several master works which measure some 16 feet long along with other works of art covering not only the landscape view but also the interiors. Lee (the photographer) has captured some magnificent images of the coloums of steam rising to the heavens, also many shots of the people and the interiors of the power plant. The show is sponsored by SSE Thermal and painters TUBES®. painters TUBES founder, Denis Taylor, also worked with the artists as an exhibition consultant and designed three virtual reality exhibitions (with catalogues) during the Covid Years which kept the concept of the Cloud Factory in the view of the public.
